X-ray

X-ray is one of the oldest and still one of the most efficient radiology diagnostic procedures. X-ray machine works by using small doses of X-rays that penetrate a specific part of the body and creates a clear picture of the patients’ health, which further helps doctors determine the appropriate course of treatment.

X-ray diagnostics is most often used in the process of examining the skeletal system, joints, but also the various condition of the lungs. This is especially important for patients with Covid 19, either for determining existing pneumonia in the acute phase of the disease or as a follow-up screening of the lungs after treatment and inflammation.

For your successful X-ray examination, it is necessary to take with you the complete medical documentation you have and prepare by removing metal objects from the part of the body that needs to be examined. For the best results, during the examination, you need to be completely still, which will significantly help the clarity of the image, and give your radiologist the information they need.

X-ray examinations are fast, the procedure is simple and completely painless, and the radiation dose used during the examination at the Eurodijagnostika clinic in Belgrade is minimal.
